• Every session is 60 minutes, one-on-one, with the same clinician. No aides. No techs. No shared rooms.
• Our clinicians average 80–100 hours of advanced training every year — roughly five times the state continuing-education requirement.
• Our practice is built on two clinical foundations: Functional Manual Therapy (Institute of Physical Art) and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (Prague School). Our team also trains in PRI, Barral, PNF, Dry Needling, Pelvic Health, TPI, and RRCA Running.
• Our founder is an FMT Fellow, an AAOMPT Fellow, a Certified DNS Practitioner and runs a continuing education company (EQ Rise LLC) that brings Prague School DNS instructors to the broader PT community.

Yes. Dr. David Park is certified through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. Dry needling is integrated into treatment when clinically indicated — it is not a standalone service.

Yes. If you have a preference based on the team page or a referral, tell us when you book. We will match you with that clinician whenever the schedule allows.

It depends on your condition, your goals, and how your body responds. After your first visit, we’ll give you our honest estimate and revise it as you progress. Because every visit is a full hour, more gets done in each session, and many patients need fewer visits than they expect.
Post-surgical recovery, such as after ACL reconstruction or joint replacement, follows a longer timeline set by healing. Others may start experiencing relief in 4-6 visits. No two bodies are alike so prognosis will be better determined after the first visit. We’ll map that out with you from the start.

Your first visit is a full 60 minutes with your physical therapist. It starts with listening: your story, how your condition has developed over time, what you’ve tried, and what you want to get back to. From there, we evaluate the whole system through posture, movement, and hands-on testing, to find what’s driving the problem, not just where it hurts. We finish with treatment and a clear home program. You’ll leave with a plan and, in many cases, a noticeable difference in how you feel.

We are an out-of-network provider. This is a deliberate choice. In-network reimbursement forces clinics into the high-volume, low-attention model. We built Equilibrium specifically to avoid. By staying out-of-network, we keep every session one hour, one-on-one, and led by an experienced clinician.
Our team verifies your benefits before your first visit and tells you the plan moving forward for each visit.

Per visit, yes. But the price of a visit isn’t the cost of getting better.
The real cost includes every visit it takes, the hours in waiting rooms and traffic, the workouts and games you miss, and the months of living with a problem that isn’t going away. Care that’s cheaper per visit but never reaches the source can end up costing far more in money, time, and frustration.
At Equilibrium, every visit is a full hour with your physical therapist, focused on finding and treating what’s actually driving your problem and getting results. The number that matters is what it takes to get you back to your life, and to keep you there.
If you have out-of-network benefits, we’ll help you use them. HSA and FSA funds can be applied.
Not sure what it would cost for you? Book a complimentary 15-minute call, and we’ll walk through it together.

No. New Jersey is a direct-access state for physical therapy, which means you can begin treatment without a referral from a physician. Many of our patients prefer to involve their primary care doctor or specialist anyway, and we coordinate care directly with them when helpful.
