How we work,
and why.
Equilibrium is a clinical model, not a service tier. The hour, the single clinician, the cash-pay structure — these aren't marketing positions. They are the only configuration in which the work we believe in is possible.
Physical therapy is a craft. It deserves your clinician’s full time, full attention, and full hands. And craft can’t be rushed, divided, or handed off.
Four principles.
Every minute of your visit is with a licensed physical therapist, never handed off to an aide. Your care follows one plan, led by a primary clinician.
One clinician owns the case
01
A shoulder problem is rarely just the shoulder. We work from the chain — breath, trunk, hip, foot — and verify with movement before we believe a finding.
02
Treat the system, not the symptom
03
Listening, examination, hands-on work, and movement retraining each take the time they take. Rush them, and they don’t hold. Sixty minutes isn’t a luxury. It’s what thorough care requires.
Time is the active ingredient
04
We’ll tell you when you no longer need us to recover. Many patients choose to keep going: to move better than before they were hurt, train harder, and stay ahead of the next injury. Recovery gets you back. What comes next is up to you.
Independence is the goal
