Dr. David Park PT, DPT, FFMT, FAAOMPT

Dr. David Park didn't take a straight line into physical therapy. He earned his Bachelor's in Psychology, with a concentration in psychology and finance, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and then spent more than six years in mortgage banking. But over time he felt a calling to serve and to make a real difference in people's lives, and he made the change. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Hunter College in New York City.

David trained extensively through the Institute of Physical Art (IPA), immersing himself in the Functional Manual Therapy™ paradigm. He earned his Certification in Functional Manual Therapy (CFMT) in August 2018. In June 2023, he completed his IPA Fellowship under the direct mentorship of Gregg Johnson and Dean Hazama, and that August he was accepted as a Fellow of Functional Manual Therapy (FFMT) as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT). In 2026, he earned his certification as a Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization Practitioner (DNSP) through the Prague School.

He continues to take coursework across paradigms — through the Barral Institute, the Postural Restoration Institute, etc. always with the goal of growing and better serving his patients.

David is also Certified in Dry Needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, credentialed by the Titleist Performance Institute, and a Level 1 Certified Running Coach through the RRCA. He is an active member of the APTA and AAOMPT.

In his spare time, he loves finding new places to eat, traveling, hiking, working out, volunteering and most importantly, spending time with his family.
